This snow globe was made from a recycled jar, water, a Christmas tree trimming, and glitter.
If you are looking for this to be a long term keepsake, I would recommend gluing the lid shut and using a plactic jar instead incase it’s dropped.
Some even suggest adding corn syrup or glycerin.
If you want to keep it simple, water works great for a quick craft that keeps the kiddos entertained for hours.
This is the Christmas Tree we made for our Fairy Garden.
Step 1: Poke holes in a paper towel roll.
Step 2: Trimmed a few branches from any bush or tree. (Christmas tree cuttings would be awesome!)
Step 3: Have kids put cuttings in the holes. They can add flowers, leaves, or acorns, as ornaments.
My favorite part of this craft was that there was no need for glue!
This ornament was made from a Christmas tree cutting, a foam ball, a square piece of burlap, and an ornament.
Simply poke a tree cutting into a foam ball and wrap a square piece of around the ball.
No need for glue. Simply tie a ribbon around the top to keep the burlap and branch in place.
A little ball ornament hanging in the front will make it look like a reindeer. A red ball makes it a Rudolf!
