The Oakbrook Regional Park is a beautiful stroller-friendly trail that is a flat half mile loop.  The trail is mostly shaded by gorgeous mature oak trees. You will noticed some evidence of the Woolsey Fire that passed through this park in 2018, but these oak trees have proven their resilience by growing back their beautiful foliage that makes for great shade on a warm day.

We then continue along the trail until we come to two big rocks.  The trail clearly ends here and so we look around the rocks and then head back.

There is a Chumash Museum on site.  You can visit the website here for details on hours and admission.

If your kiddos are still booming with energy after this short hike, there is a great playground across the street with restrooms and a basketball court.

Trail Activity Suggestions: nature scavenger hunt, nature journaling, birdwatching, sketching
